Days 1-4
Depart from the United Kingdom with one of our airline partners Virgin Atlantic, British Airways or United to Los Angeles. Upon arrival you will collect your car hire and travel to The Beverly Hilton where you will stay for three nights. The Beverly Hilton Hotel, Los Angeles is in an ideal location just minutes from Hollywood and twenty minutes to the beach. There is lots of fun for all the family in Los Angeles. During your stay you may wish to wander along Rodeo Drive, take a trip to Hollywood, visit Mickey Mouse at Disneyland or swim with the dolphins at SeaWorld.
Days 4-5
Leave Los Angeles and head north of the coast to Santa Barbara. You will be staying in The Fess Parkers Doubletree Resort which is located near the white beaches and two miles from the activity and culture of downtown Santa Barbara. During your stay in Santa Barbara a visit to the Monterey Bay Aquarium is a must-do attraction where you can see the sea otters, penguins, and reptiles or hold a starfish.
Days 5-7
Check out of The Fess Parkers Doubletree Resort and drive to your next destination of San Simeon. You will be staying in The Cavalier Oceanfront Resort for two nights. The Cavalier Oceanfront Resort is located just three miles south of Hearst Castle and seven miles from The Cavalier where you can experience a close up viewing of the Northern California Elephant Seals.
Days 7-9
Next, drive along the Pacific Coast Highway, one of the most popular drives in America, to Santa Cruz. Known as one of the surf capitals of America, Santa Cruz has its very own surf museum. You will be staying in the Hampton Inn which is located in central Santa Cruz and offers a complimentary breakfast buffet. Not to be missed is the fun fair at the boardwalk where you can take a ride on the Giant Dipper, a wooden roller coaster that was built in 1924. You can also hike and bike through the hills of the Wild Ranch State Park whilst staying in Santa Cruz.
Days 9-12
Take the next drive to Yosemite National Park where you will be staying in the Tenaya Lodge for three nights. Tenaya Lodge is nestled one mile high among the tall timbers of the Sierra National Forest. It is located just two miles from the south entrance to Yosemite National Park and offers fantastic views and an endless amount of activities that cater for all. During your stay you should not miss out on a visit to the famous Yosemite Falls, the highest waterfall in North America.
Days 12-15
For the final journey, travel to the wonderful city of San Francisco. You will be staying in the Handlery Union Square Hotel for three nights. Located in Downtown San Francisco, the hotel is just minutes from the Golden Gate Bridge. Great attractions of San Francisco include Fishermans Wharf, Union Square, Alcatraz Prison and China Town amongst the many restaurants and shops to be enjoyed.
Day 15
Time for some last minute sightseeing or shopping before making your way to San Francisco airport, drop off your car hire and fly back to the United Kingdom.
