Holidays to Cuba

A Holiday to Cuba brings you a mix of tradition and history coupled with beautiful sandy beaches. The cool tropical breeze blows across the deep blue Caribbean Sea to the green rows of sugar canes in the plains that dance gleefully under a warm tropical sun. This is Cuba an island washed by the calm waters of the Caribbean Sea, rich in culture, history, beauty, passion and ingenuity. Cuba boasts breathe taking verdant mountains, beautiful beaches, dancing cane fields, impressive tobacco plantations and magnificent architecture. Tap into the history of a revolutionary state and capture the wonderful sites like Cuba's unspoilt wildlife and nature reserves, romantic cities, beautiful people and rich cultural heritage.

Historic Atmosphere

There's a hustle in the air mixed with the strain sounds of music, a cool wind blows with the smell of the ocean against the backdrop of magnificent historic buildings, welcome to Havana. A visit to the historic 'Old Havana' is a must a UNESCO World Heritage site, showcasing marvellous structures dating back as far as 1519, and telling stories of conquest, trade and victory. See magnificent museums built from limestone, grand theatres, art galleries and cultural institutes. It is no wonder Havana stands as the cultural heartbeat of Cuba. Havana's old world feel is amplified by the many vintage American cars that traverse the city's streets. A tour of one of Havana's cigar factory is must; to see at first hand how the world famous cigars are handmade.

Stroll along the narrow streets and historic squares in Old Havana and you will find many historic sites namely the Plaza De Armas , Plaza De La Catedral , Plaza De San Fransisco and Plaza Vieja, perhaps also the Capitolio building and the Parque Central square. Enjoy the exciting nightly entertainment of this vibrant city, with phenomenal cabaret shows, lively bars and restaurants and breathe taking theatres.

Beaches of Cuba

No trip to Cuba is complete without a visit to Varadero, Cuba's largest beach resort town just 2 hours drive from Havana. Varadero is located on a 12 mile penninusla of powdered white sand beach, caressed by the crystal clear waters of the Caribbean Sea illuminated by the yellow Caribbean sun. It is no wonder Varadero is a retreat for the weary vacationer, with georgeous beaches for sunbathing, swimming, snorkelling and diving. Varadero offers diving sites with over 30 species of coral and beautiful fish, fauna and other marine life to discover, it is the only place in Cuba that has an 18 hole golf course to lower your handicap. This beautiful 12 mile peninsula is also home to a nature reserve called Punta Hicacos. Enjoy beautiful beaches, excellent scuba diving sites, swim with the dolphins and explore old caves of historical significance. One of our favourite properties is the Iberostar Varadero, situated directly on the beach and offers all inclusive with facilities typical of a large all inclusive hotel. The Blau Varadero is another hotel again beautiful and relaxing with facilities to suit.

Testimonials

"Many thanks for your effort in arranging the Disney holiday for us. It was superb and the accommodation, restaurant recommendations, location and everything else was spot on. We had a little hiccup with rental car collection, I thought it was downtown but it was on Magic Kingdom. Nothing in the scheme of everything else though.

We found the dining plan great and fitted in well with the family and in laws. California Grill on Mother's Day was great. The free visit back to view the Magic Kingdom fireworks at 10 that night topped off the day.

Wolfgang Puck have a gem in Downtown with an excellent counter serve. Recently opened. We stumbled on Raglan Road Downtown too. A lively joint with Irish dancing. Food was one of the best and kids got invited up for a jig too!

The weather was hotter than expected but we didn't complain. A little drop of rain on one morning and night so did well avoiding the storms I remember as a kid "
