Fly direct with Virgin Atlantic from Manchester or London to Orlando International. Upon arrival your car will be ready for collection at the Alamo desk onsite at the airport. Drive the short journey to Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge, one of Walt Disney World resorts deluxe 5 star hotels. With its African safari theme throughout, filled with many exotic artefacts, this is a unique hotel with some of the guestrooms even overlooking a vast savannah filled with over 30 species of grazing animals including giraffe, zebra and gazelles.
There is a lot to see and do here, with a swimming pool, kids water play area, playground and Simbas Clubhouse for children aged between 4 and 12 years old. There are many dining choices with a great selection of restaurants and bars to choose from, and a health spa with a huge range of treatments available to guests.
The guestrooms are all air conditioned, with cable television with Disney programming, internet access, DVD player, alarm clock with built in CD player, fridge, microwave, tea and coffee making facilities, iron and ironing board facilities.
After your week at the Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge, it is time to drive down to the Ocean Key Resort and Spa in Key West. This is a 4 star deluxe resort in the Key West historic old town on Mallory Square, and overlooks the ocean. This is a great base to explore the lively streets of Key West, with street performers and entertainment aplenty.
The Ocean Key Resort has a beautiful swimming pool with views of the gulf, a whirlpool, fully equipped fitness centre and spa. There is a wide selection of restaurants and bars to choose from, including the popular Hot Tin Roof offering waterfront fine dining.
The guestrooms all have private balconies, are all air conditioning, have a television, iron and ironing board, a jet or whirlpool bath tub, hairdryer and tea and coffee making facilities.
You will depart from Orlando in the evening, leaving you plenty of time to drive back up to the airport. It is an overnight flight so you will arrive back into the UK the following morning.
