Lapland Safari Holiday

Days 1-2

Fly from London to Kiruna. You'll then transfer to your hotel for an overnight stay.

Days 2-3

Meet with your dog teams and learn about dog sledding. You will have your own team of huskies and will be kitted out in snow shoes. Mush with your team for 2 and a half hours to Luspen Wilderness Lodge by the Torne River, here you will stay overnight.

Days 3-4

Mush to Puonujokki Wilderness Lodge which is a 3 to 4 hour trip and search for wildlife en route. You will stay overnight at the Puonujokki Wilderness Lodge.

Days 4-5

You will then mush into the hills back to Luspen Wilderness Lodge which will take approximately 6 hours, you will spend the night here. During your stay at Luspen you will be completely self- sufficient; chopping wood for the stoves, taking water from the ice holes in the lake and looking after your faithful huskies.

Days 5-6

Mush to the village of Soppero along the 'tobacco trail' which will take between 5 and 6 hours until you reach the Sami settlement of Soppero where you will stay as guests of a Sami family. You will learn about their reindeer herding traditions and way of life in the harsh environment.

Days 6-7

Learn more about the Sami culture. Head back to Kiruna, visitng the Ice Hotel on the way. You will see amazing sculptures and structures made from pure river ice, bringing you to the end of your journey through this arctic wonderland.

Day 7

Fly back to London from Kiruna.
