Self Drive Tour of California

Days 1-3

Depart from London Heathrow and fly direct to San Francisco with Virgin Atlantic.

Since this is an extra special holiday, we recommend upgrading your flight to Premium Economy for an additional cost.

Upon arrival at the airport, you will be transferred to your hotel, the Union Street Inn, staying in the English Garden Room.

Spend the next 3 days exploring and shopping in the famous Union Square.

Days 3-8

Make your way to Oakland which is approximately 30 minutes away from San Francisco where you will pick up your home for the next 5 nights- a 30ft RV.

The vehicle comes fully insured and ready to drive away with an entitlement of 400 miles.

***After you have used those up there is an additional cost of 40 cents per mile***.

Days 8-9

Return the RV back to Oakland and take a taxi back to San Francisco for a night's stay at the Hyatt at Fisherman's Wharf.

Take a stroll along Pier 39 and sample some of the famous sourdough bread and many fine seafood restaurants to choose from.

Days 9-11

Head to Downtown Union Square and pick up your convertible car - your transport for the rest of the trip.

The car will come fully insured for 2 drivers and you can take the leisurely drive to Monterey where you will spend 2 nights in a quaint boutique hotel.

Bed and Breakfast is included staying at the Jabberwok Inn. You will be staying in the Toves Room.

Days 11-13

Drive down to Morro Bay for 2 nights staying at the Anderson Inn Morro Bay.

This is a contemporary boutique style accommodation staying in a Queen Size room overlooking the water.

The staff are fabulous at this small family owned property and it offers fantastic views.

Days 13-15

You will be heading to Santa Monica for a 2 night stay at the Georgian Hotel with bed and breakfast.

This hotel has panoramic views of the ocean to enjoy the renowned Santa Monica Bay sunsets.

Shopping, dining and entertainment are all within minutes' walk away, along with the exciting and vibrant Venice Beach.

Day 15

Depart Los Angeles Airport to head back to the UK with Virgin Atlantic.
