Margaritaville Resort Orlando is an island-inspired retreat tucked away just minutes from Walt Disney World! Not only is the location of this resort superb, they also offer a convenient shuttle bus to the Walt Disney World parks as well as Universal Studios Orlando and SeaWorld Orlando.
When you first walk into the Margaritaville Resort Orlando hotel you’ll instantly feel immersed in island-style living. The reception staff will greet you with an island-inspired cocktail which you can sip as you sit in the beautifully decorated lobby (non-alcoholic is also available, though not half as fun!). Be sure to look up as you walk in as you will find Margaritaville’s namesake: empty, upside-down margarita glasses line the ceiling making for an inventive piece of artwork. The lobby is also home to the signature Margaritaville flip flop in an iconic bright red! This is a great spot for a photo op! The main lobby area is also home to the hotels ‘grab-and-go’ where you can purchase provisions such as Fiji water, a fresh Caesar salad and even a pack of Oreos for those with a late night sweet-tooth!
The hotel rooms are perfectly on theme with the island-vibe: beautiful blue décor, rustic beachfront inspired furniture and plenty of ocean-themed artwork. The Standard Double Rooms are very spacious, with plenty of room for a family of 4 (and all their luggage). Though, for those looking for a big more living space the Margaritaville Resort Orlando hotel also offers One-Bedroom Suites that have a fabulous living room and dining area with 2 balconies, a walk-in wardrobe and large bathroom.
Margaritaville Resort Orlando’s main restaurant, Euphoria Fish House, offers the essence of cruise-line dining décor and live entertainment with the sophistication of 5* resort cuisine! Here you can enjoy a ‘Taste of the Tropics’ as you dine on fresh Florida seafood (and fabulous local steaks). When spending a day by the pool, you might not fancy getting dressed up for dinner and Margaritaville Resort Orlando has you covered! The Salty Rim Bar & Grill offers poolside bites and drinks including the infamous frosty Margaritas, fabulous Burgers, Nachos, Jamaican Fries, Shrimp Tacos, and much more! Speaking of the pool, this island-inspired oasis offers lagoon pools where you can sit back and relax in a private cabana or poolside on a chaise-lounge. Poolside service will keep you refreshed and full all day while you relax, and the kids play! If you are feeling a bit more adventurous, the Island H20 Water Park (located right next to the Resort) features over 20 thrilling experiences including a lazy river, wave pool, water slides and a children’s only section. The H20 Water Park is open March – November and transportation is available (though largely unneeded as it is just a short walk).
Sunset Walk is the second location that is adjacent to Margaritaville Resort Orlando that cannot be missed when you visit! Sunset Walk is full of things to do from a Dine-In cinema where you can order anything from a burger to spaghetti at your seat, an arcade, fabulous restaurants including Ford’s Garage where you can enjoy delicious burgers and beers whilst taking in the 1920s service station theming and The Wharf where you can enjoy fresh caught Lobster and amazing steaks! Sunset Walk often has live music and events, so be sure to check with your Travel Advisor which events are on during your stay.
Margaritaville Resort Orlando also offers premium ‘cottages’ that provide island-inspired accommodation with the bonus of privacy, seclusion and self-catering abilities. Perfect for large families, the premium ‘cottages’ are Margaritaville Resort’s answer to the ever-loved Orlando Villa. Ranging from 1 to 8-bedroom cottages, all the Margaritaville Resort cottages are equipped with a full kitchen, a signature Margarita maker, dining and living spaces, separate bedrooms and select cottages come with a terrace spa and/or private pool. Cottage guests will still have access to the full range of Margaritaville Resort amenities including the pool, H20 Water Park, bars, and restaurants. Guests who hire a car, which we highly recommend doing in Orlando, will also be able to park outside their cottage.
The St. Somewhere Spa is one of the most unique aspects of Margaritaville Resort Orlando as it offers a variety of treatments unlike many traditional spas! A visit to the St. Somewhere Spa is truly relaxing for the mind, body and soul and not only does the spa offer traditional treatments like body therapies and massages but also Vitamin Therapy where you can select from a range of drips, shots and enhancements that provide you with different vitamins depending on your health goals. For those looking for an immune boost, you may want to try the Sun Baked Drip that offers Vitamin C and Zinc to support your immune system. Those looking for ultimate hydration will love the Dreamsicle Hydration that offers electrolytes and minerals designed to gently hydrate and re-energize in minutes. Whatever your goal, you can pamper yourself in paradise at the St. Somewhere Spa.
Whilst in Orlando, we all need our ‘down days’ where we can recuperate from our busy, exciting days at the Walt Disney World and Universal Studios theme parks and Margaritaville Resort Orlando is the perfect place to do just that. Adults can indulge in a facial, massage, vitamin infusion or simply enjoy a day by the pool whilst the kids are entertained all day. Everyday activities are put on poolside to entertain the little ones for hours: from scavenger hunts to exclusive wildlife experiences in partnership with Gatorland! So even on those days you decide not to visit Disney, Margaritaville Resort are on hand to provide hours of endless fun!
