Hard Rock Hotel: The Hard Rock Hotel Universal offers a rock n' roll-themed experience with music memorabilia displayed throughout the hotel. The hotel has multiple dining options, a large pool with a waterslide, and a fitness centre. Additionally, The Hard Rock Hotel is the closest Universal Resort accommodation the theme parks – it is just a short walk down a dedicated path to CityWalk. Another added benefit of staying at the Hard Rock Hotel is the inclusion of FREE Unlimited Express Passes, with a valid Universal Orlando resort theme park ticket. This is particularly useful during busy periods like the Summer and Christmas holidays. However, thanks to its popularity the hotel can become loud and crowded which may not be ideal for travellers looking for a more relaxed atmosphere.
Loews Royal Pacific Resort: The Loews Royal Pacific Resort is designed to transport guests to a tropical paradise with its lush landscaping and Tiki-themed decor. The hotel features a large swimming pool, a fitness centre, and multiple restaurants. Another added benefit of staying at Loews Royal Pacific Resort is the inclusion of FREE Unlimited Express Passes, with a valid Universal Orlando resort theme park ticket. One downside some travellers face is that the rooms at Loews Royal Pacific Resort are said to be smaller than those of the other Universal Orlando Resort hotel rooms, which may not be ideal for families or those looking for more space.
Loews Sapphire Falls Resort: Loews Sapphire Falls Resort offers spacious and elegant rooms, with a Caribbean-inspired decor. The resort also boasts a beautiful pool area, complete with waterfalls and a water slide. The location of the Sapphire Falls Resort is also convenient, as it is just a short walk or boat ride away from the Universal theme parks. One potential downside to staying at the Sapphire Falls Resort is the cost. It may be too expensive for some travellers, particularly those on a tighter budget.
Universal Cabana Bay Beach Resort: The Cabana Bay Beach Resort is a budget-friendly option of the Universal Resort Hotels. The hotel offers a retro-themed experience with bright colours and vintage decor. The hotel features multiple swimming pools, a lazy river, and a bowling alley. The hotel features a rooftop bar and pool, a fitness centre, and multiple dining options. However, the family- friendly facilities at Universal's Aventura Hotel are not as grand (or as good) as at their other resort hotels, and when visiting this hotel, we found that it would be particularly appealing to couples visiting Universal Orlando Resort.
Universal’s Endless Summer Resorts: The Endless Summer Resorts (Surfside Inn & Suites and Dockside Inn & Suites) are a great option for visitors on a budget, in fact they are the most budget-friendly of all the Universal Resort Hotels. These resorts offer affordable accommodations without sacrificing comfort or quality. The rooms are bright and colourful, and the resort offers plenty of fun amenities like a surfboard-shaped pool and game room. The location of the Endless Summer resorts is also a plus, as they are within walking distance of Universal's Volcano Bay water park. However, while they offer a great value, the rooms may be smaller and less luxurious than those at other Universal hotels, and there are far less food/dining options.
