What's Included in This Japan Cherry Blossom Tour Package

Tokyo Cherry Blossoms - 3 nights

Hotel: Park Hotel Tokyo

Check-in at Lotte City Hotel and settle in and relax after your flight. Be sure to visit Shibuya Crossing and dive into the vibrant atmosphere of one of the busiest intersections in the world, then enjoy a peaceful walk through the lush forest surrounding this iconic Shinto shrine.

In Tokyo, Ueno Park is a must-visit location. This expansive park is home to over a thousand cherry trees, creating a picturesque canopy of pink and white blossoms. As you stroll through the park, you'll encounter locals and tourists alike, all enjoying hanami (flower viewing) picnics under the blooming trees. Don't forget to visit the Tokyo National Museum and Ueno Zoo while you're there. Another fantastic spot in Tokyo is Shinjuku Gyoen National Garden. This serene garden offers a tranquil escape from the bustling city. With a mix of Japanese, English, and French-style gardens, Shinjuku Gyoen provides a unique cherry blossom viewing experience. The wide lawns and traditional teahouses make it an ideal place for a peaceful afternoon.

Day Trip: Mount Fuji & Hakone Cherry Blossoms

For a taste of Japan's most iconic scenery in a single day, few trips compare to Mount Fuji and Hakone in cherry blossom season. Setting off from Tokyo, the journey winds through the Fuji Five Lakes region, where clear spring mornings offer some of the best chances all year to see Mount Fuji's snow-capped peak framed by pink blossom. From here, continue on to Hakone, where cherry trees line the shores of Lake Ashi and the surrounding hillsides - a striking contrast against the volcanic landscape of Owakudani and, on a clear day, Fuji itself rising in the distance. It's a day that pairs Japan's most famous natural landmark with one of its prettiest spring displays, making it a highlight for anyone visiting in late March or April.

Kyoto Cherry Blossoms - 3 nights

Hotel: The Royal Park Canvas Kyoto Nijo

Travel to Kyoto and check in at Grand Bach Kyoto Select. In the evening, take a stroll through the historic geisha district of Gion and experience traditional tea houses. Visit Fushimi Inari Shrine to walk through thousands of iconic red torii gates. Explore Kiyomizu-dera Temple for panoramic views of Kyoto, then wander through the Higashiyama District with its narrow lanes and traditional shops and cafes.

Kyoto, known for its historical charm, is also a fantastic destination for cherry blossom viewing. Philosopher’s Path, a scenic walkway along a canal lined with hundreds of cherry trees, is especially popular. As you walk along this path, you'll feel a sense of tranquility, surrounded by the delicate beauty of the blossoms.

Osaka Cherry Blossoms - 3 nights

Hotel: Moxy Osaka Honmachi

Travel to Osaka and check in at Cross Hotel Osaka. In the evening, immerse yourself in the neon lights, street food, and lively atmosphere of Dotonbori. Explore the historic Osaka Castle and its surrounding park. Wander through Osaka Aquarium Kaiyukan to see an incredible variety of marine life, then enjoy shopping in Shinsaibashi-suji, Osaka’s premier shopping street.

In Osaka, head to Osaka Castle Park for a memorable cherry blossom experience. The park, which surrounds the majestic Osaka Castle, is home to thousands of cherry trees. The combination of the castle's historic architecture and the blooming trees creates a magical atmosphere, especially during the evening when the trees are illuminated.

No matter where you go in Japan during cherry blossom season, you'll be treated to a stunning display of nature's beauty. Each location offers its own unique charm, making your cherry blossom adventure truly special.

Tokyo - 1 night
