Depart from Manchester or London with United or American Airlines on a tour holidays to San Francisco. Upon arrival you will collect your car hire, which you will have for the duration of your trip. You will then make your way to Hotel Nikko where you will stay for the next three nights and explore San Francisco; one of the most sophisticated cities in the world. Hotel Nikko is situated in an ideal location in the heart of San Francisco and is just steps from Union Square and some of the city's most famous sites. Alternatively we can arrange a hotel situated in Fishermans Wharf if you would prefer. To optimise your visit to San Francisco we have arranged a city tour for your second day where you will get a taste of colourful cultures and experience the beautiful sights of the Golden Gate Bridge. A must see recommendation for your San Francisco holiday is the famous Alcatraz prison, we can also prearrange this tour for you. Whilst staying in San Francisco, be sure not to miss out on a visit to Pier 39, a lively marketplace full of shops, restaurants and popular street performers with the chance to see the local sea lions.

Days 4-5

Check out of the Nikko Hotel and set off to travel through the Californian wine country with views of the beautiful landscapes. Arrive at Garberville and check in to the Benbow Hotel for a well-deserved rest for one night. The Benbow Hotel is a historic inn located in the heart of California Redwood Country and offers something for everyone including romantic lodging, a 9-hole golf course and pool side fun. This gives you the chance to visit Richardson Grove State Park and explore the forest of giant Redwoods.

Days 5-7

Feeling refreshed from your stay in California you will be ready for the next journey to Gold Beach where you will check in to the Pacific Reef Hotel and Resort for two nights. Gold Beach, Oregon is known for its stunning beaches, ancient forests, and the Oregon State Parks which stretch for miles north and south of Gold Beach. There is plenty to discover in Gold Beach and the surrounding area and you will be overwhelmed by the range of activities on offer from whale watching to surfing. We recommend visiting Eureka and the Redwood National Park en route to Gold Beach for your chance to experience a 19th century Victorian town and to discover trees that are more than 1000 years old and over 300 feet tall. A must-do activity at Gold Beach is the high-speed jet ride along the Rogue River to see black bears and bald eagles amongst other native wildlife.

Days 7-9

It is time to set off again to the next destination of Gleneden Beach, one of the most popular beach resorts in Oregon. You will be staying at the Salishan Spa and Golf Resort for two nights. We advise that you stop off at the Oregon Dunes en route to Gleneden Beach where you will be able to take a thrilling ride in a dune buggy over the magnificent shifting sand dunes. Gleneden Beach has much to offer with the Oregon Coast Aquarium and the historic waterfront of Newport.

Days 9-10

Check out of the Hotel Deluxe and make your way to the next stop, the Olympic National Park, Washington. You will be staying in Lake Crescent Lodge for two nights. Here you will enjoy the beautiful views of the rugged glacier capped mountains, 60 miles of wild Pacific coast, and the rainforests. Not to be missed is a visit to Mount St Helens Visitors Centre, where you can learn about the Ring-of-Fire volcano and experience the eruption chamber. It is best to visit this on your journey to the Olympic National Park.
