Disney's Magic Kingdom Park is where magical dreams come true. Magic Kingdom Park is located in Orlando, Florida, in the Walt Disney World Resort, and combines fantastical rides and attractions with all your favourite Disney characters, including Mickey and Minnie Mouse! Plus, at Magic Kingdom Park, you'll find a variety of worlds, themes, food, and drink to enjoy and explore.
Magic Kingdom Park has six fantastical lands with a variety of attractions and rides to choose from, so there is plenty to do for everyone on their Disney holiday. Below you will find our go-to guide for all things Magic Kingdom: where to eat, drink, stay, our favourite Magic Kingdom attractions and the best theme park ticket options for you to experience all the fun of Disney's Magic Kingdom!
In Adventureland, you will find attractions like Jungle Cruise, Swiss Family Treehouse, The Magic Carpets of Aladdin, Walt Disney's Enchanted Tiki Room, and everyone's favorite, Pirates of the Caribbean! Adventureland is also the home of Dole Whip soft-serve pineapple-flavored ice cream, and even a Middle Eastern-style bazaar to pick up a souvenir or two.
Fantasyland is located directly behind Cinderella's Castle and is home to Magic Kingdom Park's iconic Be Our Guest restaurant (themed after Beauty and the Beast). You will also find Gaston's Tavern, a gift shop, and a variety of rides, including Dumbo the Flying Elephant, It's a Small World, The Seven Dwarfs Mine Train, Peter Pan Flight, Under the Sea - Journey of The Little Mermaid, and Walt Disney World Railroad. Fantasyland is also home to the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique; a salon for children aged 3 to 12 that offers future princesses a royal makeover! In Fantasyland, there are also opportunities for meet and greets with your favourite characters, including The Little Mermaid's Ariel and Belle from Beauty and the Beast!
Frontierland offers a trip into America's Wild West where you will find plenty of western-style buildings, restaurants, and even live music. In Frontierland, you will find some of Magic Kingdom Park's headline attractions, including Big Thunder Mountain and the previously known Splash Mountain - soon to be reopened and rebranded for 2024. Other attractions in Frontierland include Tom Sawyer Island, Frontier Shooting Arcade, and the Walt Disney World Railroad. There is also plenty to eat and drink in Frontierland, including what is arguably Magic Kingdom Park's best counter service restaurant, Pecos Bill's Tall Tale Inn and Café! Plus, Frontierland offers some of the best views for the Magic Kingdom parades.
Many visitors to Magic Kingdom Park say that Tomorrowland is their favourite themed land in the whole theme park. We say, you'll have to visit to decide for yourself! Tomorrowland offers a glimpse into the future… if that future was made and imagined by Disney! In Tomorrowland, you'll find attractions including the Astro Orbiter, Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin, Monsters Inc. Laugh Floor, the Tomorrowland Transit Authority PeopleMover, Space Mountain, and the highly anticipated TRON LightCycle / Run! TRON LightCycle / Run is Magic Kingdom Park's latest attraction and offers guests the opportunity to ride a high-speed indoor slash outdoor roller coaster like never before! Of course, there is also plenty of food and drink to enjoy in Tomorrowland, including Cosmic Ray's Starlight Café and the Tomorrowland Popcorn Cart for a quick bite on the go.
Liberty Square is another transportation back in time to the American Revolution; Guests will be walking through colonial architecture as they walk from Fantasyland to Frontierland - you will even pass a real 130-year-old oak tree which makes the theming all that more immersive. In Liberty Square, you will find the Liberty Square Riverboat, the Hall of Presidents, and the iconic The Haunted Mansion! If you fancy a bite to eat as you stroll through the past in Liberty Square, why not check out The Haunted Mansion ice cream cart or the Liberty Tree Tavern for a sit-down restaurant.
Finally, Main Street, USA is one of Walt Disney World's most renowned lands in any of the theme parks. You will first see Main Street, USA, as you enter Magic Kingdom Park, and again you will walk through it as you exit the park. Main Street, USA, draws upon the architecture of a 20th-century American town's main street, though, of course, a sprinkling of Disney magic has been added to create the fantastical Main Street, USA, you see as you enter Magic Kingdom Park. All of the buildings along Main Street, USA, are real and are used for a variety of things, including shops, eateries, and even a Starbucks. Main Street, USA, is a very popular place to watch the Magic Kingdom parade. However, if you plan on doing this, we advise getting your place early as it can become very crowded. It is also an amazing place to see the Magic Kingdom nightly fireworks atop Cinderella's Castle - as you will have a direct view of the castle and the fireworks above it. Main Street, USA, is where you can also catch the Walt Disney World Railroad around the rest of the theme park, and also where you will find a variety of essential services, including storage lockers, the Information Centre, stroller rental, first aid, and more.
Aside from the rides, attractions, and things to do at Magic Kingdom Park, you're definitely going to want to stop and refuel along the way.
