Orlando and Sarasota. Orlando is a big city with big-city attractions. Sarasota is a small city with big-city attractions and a friendly beach town feel. Combine Orlando and Sarasota and what do you get? The perfect twin centre holiday- that’s what!

Most visitors head for Orlando first. Here, vacations start with a trip from the airport to a villa, a condo or a hotel, depending on your taste. Kids will want to immediately see the mouse and the dwarfs and Cinderella’s castle. Adults in the group may want to relax and have a drink or find a great restaurant to enjoy a meal before heading out to explore the area. Luckily, everyone will win. Orlando has something for all ages.

Restaurants like Chatham’s Place offer elegant dining options. Candle light and entrees like filet with prawns and white chocolate soufflé for dessert will have even the most discriminating taste buds singing. A hot New York style pizza will be a hit with the kids. Starring Rolls Café offers pastries and sandwiches, perfect for a quick bite on your way to see the sites.

When Orlando has shown you all of her secrets, head down to Sarasota where everything is just beachy. Start your Sarasota holiday with a visit to The Ringling. Here, a mansion filled with art, a theater with circus costumes and trains and beautiful grounds equal the home to John and Mable Ringling and the owners of Ringling Brothers Circus.

The Mote Laboratory and Aquarium is fun for kids and adults. See fish, sea horses and lionfish in the aquariums. All of the exhibits are clearly labeled. The touch pools hold sting rays that the kids can safely touch and explore. In the other building manatees and baby turtles are being fed. See sharks, jellyfish and more in this interesting place.

Water sports are popular in Sarasota. Kayak through mangrove tunnels. See the manatees in the wild. Do some tubing or take a sunset cruise. Spend the day diving or paddle boarding. And, of course, there are fishing charters ready to take you to the big one.

Myakka State Park is the perfect way to experience the wildlife of Sarasota. See owls, hawks and gators along the water. Moss draped trees line the lanes. Bike through the park or climb the observation tower for a bird’s-eye view.

Theatres, big cat sanctuaries and art museums will keep the whole group entertained. And when you are all exhausted, relax in your villa or cottage. Try an elegant executive home with pool, glassed-in porch overlooking the pool and huge en suites. Or maybe your taste run to a 1950’s home with a welcome feeling and simple furnishings.

Your Orlando and Sarasota holidays can be everything you have dreamed about. Just let the staff of Charter Travel help you plan and book and reserve just what you want.

"Many thanks for your effort in arranging the Disney holiday for us. It was superb and the accommodation, restaurant recommendations, location and everything else was spot on. We had a little hiccup with rental car collection, I thought it was downtown but it was on Magic Kingdom. Nothing in the scheme of everything else though.

We found the dining plan great and fitted in well with the family and in laws. California Grill on Mother's Day was great. The free visit back to view the Magic Kingdom fireworks at 10 that night topped off the day.

Wolfgang Puck have a gem in Downtown with an excellent counter serve. Recently opened. We stumbled on Raglan Road Downtown too. A lively joint with Irish dancing. Food was one of the best and kids got invited up for a jig too!

The weather was hotter than expected but we didn't complain. A little drop of rain on one morning and night so did well avoiding the storms I remember as a kid "
