Days 1-4

Fly from the United Kingdom with one of our partner airlines, British Airways, Virgin Atlantic or United, direct into New York. Catch a taxi into Manhattan to your accommodation the Radio City Apartments, located in the heart of the city, just blocks away from Times Square. The Radio City Apartments are a fantastic base from which to explore New York. The apartments come complete with separate kitchenette, wireless internet and are within walking distance of a complete range of cuisines from around the world. Take a boat tour to visit the Statue of Liberty, enjoy one of the fantastic shows on Broadway and no visit would be complete without a birds eye view of the city from the top of the Empire State building. After your three night stay in a New York catch the Amtrak Train from Penn Station down to Washington DC.

Days 4-7

Once you have arrived into Washington, head to the Palomar Hotel, where you will be staying for three nights. The hotel is commended on its friendly service and bespoke, luxurious modern guest rooms and suites, heated outdoor pool and sundeck. From the perfect central location just off Dupont Circle explore the wealth of attractions Washington has to offer. The Smithsonian Institution in particular is worth a visit with its museums across the city, along with a walking tour of the monuments and government buildings along the National Mall. From Washington make your way to the airport, for your flight with United across to San Francisco.

Days 7-10

On arrival in San Francisco, pick up your hire car and head towards your hotel for the three night stay the San Francisco Marriott at Fishermans Wharf. Located just one block from the historic Pier 39, it offers fresh, modern guest rooms and suites having just received a $30 million refurbishment. Its location makes it a fantastic base from which to explore the city. Walk, cycle or drive across the iconic Golden Gate Bridge, or take a boat tour of the harbour and visit the famous Alcatraz Island prison with its eventful history.

Days 10-12

From San Francisco head inland across the beautiful Californian countryside to Yosemite National Park. We have chosen the Yosemite View Lodge, on the banks of the Merced River, with fantastic views along the river valley. From your hotel the national park can be explored by car or on foot, with the Yosemite Falls, the tallest waterfall in North America best viewed at the end of spring when the river flow is at its highest. Glacier Point further into the park offers breath-taking views across the valley. Spend two nights at the Yosemite View Lodge, with spacious guest rooms and suites and both indoor and outdoor pools, the perfect place to relax as the sun sets after a day exploring this beautiful wilderness.

Days 12-15

After exploring the natural beauty of Yosemite, head to Las Vegas and the Luxor hotel - the iconic and unique Egyptian themed pyramid resort, central to the Las Vegas Strip. All guest rooms and suites are well appointed and finished to a high standard. Enjoy the outdoor pool and sundeck area and dine in one of the number of impressive restaurants. Las Vegas is a truly 24 hour city hosting countless casinos, and hotel resorts, with a number of live performances running each night, such as the O Cirque du Soleil. During the day pay a visit to the Hoover Dam, and witness the power of the Colorado River as it powers the city.

Days 15-16

A trip to Las Vegas would not be complete without a stop at the Grand Canyon. We believe you need at least a couple of days to explore it and so you will spend two nights at the Grand Canyon Ranch in either an authentic tipi or cabin. This working ranch gives you a real insight of the cowboy way of life, with the option of sunset horse rides and helicopter tours of the canyon. Nightly campfires are a specialty with live music and tales of the cowboy way of life.

Days 16-17

Head back to Las Vegas after your time spent in the great outdoors. Caesars Palace dominates the skyline of the strip and is with huge outdoor pool area and luxury throughout. Whatever room or suite you choose to stay in, is finished to the highest standard with a choice of 13 onsite restaurants.

Days 17-22

Leave the bright lights of Las Vegas, and head to Los Angeles. From your base in Anaheim you are ideally placed to explore the great city of Los Angeles. With so much to see and do in the area we have allocated 5 nights in the Hyatt Regency Anaheim. This impressive, modern hotel has a great range of facilities, including heated outdoor pool and tennis and basketball courts, as well as a sundeck where you can relax after a day exploring the city. There are a range of rooms and suites which are all spacious with a fresh contemporary feel. Less than a mile from Disneyland, the hotel offers a free shuttle to the park. Los Angeles has a wealth of attractions, including Hollywood Boulevard, with the Kodak Theatre and the Walk of Fame. Travel up into the hills to see the mansions of the Beverly Hills rich and famous, or take a trip to the golden sands of Santa Monica beach.

Days 22-25

For the final few days of your amazing holiday in America, spend some time unwinding in San Diego. The Omni hotel is located opposite the downtown marina, with great links to the surrounding attractions. Enjoy the outdoor terrace on the sixth floor which overlooks the Pacific Ocean with an open-air heated pool, spa and bar. The luxurious guest rooms and suites are the perfect final stop on your trip. San Diego has a long connection with the US Navy, and one of the top attractions in the city is the USS Midway aircraft carrier which after a long career with the navy has become a popular museum to naval aviation. The San Diego Zoo is regarded as one of the finest in the world with a progressive approach to the conservation and breeding of endangered species. It has had particular success with the giant pandas, is home to over 800 species of animals, and well worth a visit.

Day 25

From San Diego drive back to Los Angeles and drop off your hire care before boarding your flight back to the United Kingdom.
