Day 2-3: Chobe National Park

Kasane is a small town located in the northeastern corner of Botswana, and is known as the gateway to the Chobe National Park. It is a popular destination for wildlife enthusiasts, as it is situated on the banks of the Chobe River and offers stunning views of the surrounding wilderness. One of the best places to stay in Kasane is the Chobe Safari Lodge, which offers comfortable and stylish accommodation, as well as a range of activities and amenities.

A Chobe safari is a unique experience that allows you to immerse yourself in the wilderness of Botswana and witness some of the world's most incredible wildlife up close. One of the best ways to experience the park is by combining an early morning game drive with an afternoon boat cruise on the Chobe River.

An early morning game drive offers the chance to see wildlife when it's most active, as many animals tend to be more active during the cooler hours of the day. You'll set out with an experienced guide who will help you spot some of the park's most iconic species, such as lions, leopards, elephants, giraffes, and buffaloes.

In the afternoon, you'll enjoy a boat cruise on the Chobe River, which is a unique and unforgettable experience. From the comfort of your boat, you'll be able to get up close to some of the park's aquatic wildlife, including crocodiles, hippos, and a wide variety of bird species. The cruise takes you along the river's winding channels and past lush riverine forests, offering a unique perspective on the park's diverse landscapes. As the sun sets over the river, you can sit back and relax with a cold drink, taking in the stunning scenery and reflecting on the incredible experiences of the day.
