Lombok Holidays

If you arrive onto Lombok after visiting Bali, it will feel like you have crossed an international border. Lombok offers a change in culture, speed of life and more tranquillity. With some of the most beautiful expansive beaches in Asia, brilliant spots for surfing including the renowned “Desert Point” and colourful coral reefs for diving it makes a wonderful holiday destination of its own or a great twin-centre with Bali. Although Lombok offers wonderful ocean life in addition there are stunning lakes, the Rinjani National Park - trek up to the summit of the active volcano and a visit to the Narmada Water Park where the Temple Hindu temple Pura Kalasa has a spring that is frequently visited by people due to their belief that its spring water grants eternal youth!  On the northwest corner of Lombok, are three idyllic atolls, the Gili Islands; all offering an exceptional slice of paradise for day trips or overnight stays. The islands don’t permit motorised vehicles so the mode of transport is horse drawn cart or bicycle and are known as the turtle capital of the world.
