For this 14 Night Florida and Atlantis, The Bahamas Holiday you will be flying into Tampa on Florida’s Gulf Coast where you will pick up your hire car and make the short drive out to Clearwater Beach, where you will stay at the Wyndham Grand Clearwater Beach.

On your first couple of days on Florida’s Gulf Coast you can spend your time relaxing on Clearwater’s expansive white sand beach and swimming in the calm, blue waters Florida’s Gulf Coast is so famous for. If you fancy leaving the glistening shores of Clearwater beach, why not check out the Clearwater Marine Aquarium or perhaps catch a baseball game at the Clearwater Threshers stadium.

On your third day on the Florida Gulf Coast, why not hop in your hire car and drive down to Port Charlotte in Charlotte Harbor. Port Charlotte is home to Bayshore Live Oak Park and from here you will be treated to stunning views of the bay if you stroll along some of the park’s coastline trails. In Port Charlotte you will also find plenty of quaint boutique stores and cafés to enjoy some lunch at. On your drive back to Clearwater, why not stop in at St. Petersburg and walk out over the ocean along the pier…along the pier you’ll also plenty of eateries and shops to have a look in, or simply admire the views out over the Gulf.

On your 4^th day on the Florida Gulf Coast it’s time to drive back into Tampa and visit the iconic Busch Gardens Tampa Bay theme park; home to thrilling rides like SheiKra, Tigris, the family favourite Serengeti Express, and lots more! Busch Gardens Tampa Bay is ideal for families with young children and teenagers alike as the theme park is full of thrilling roller coasters and a large Sesame Street themed area specifically for children with their own rides and climbing nets!

If you just can’t get enough of Florida’s theme parks, then why not drive down to Orlando for the night and spend 2 days enjoy everything Orlando has to offer! From the Magical Walt Disney World Resort to the Epic Universal Orlando Resort, there are over 6 theme parks to enjoy in Orlando! Spend the night at the Rosen Inn International to maximise your time in Orlando and visit multiple theme parks! For those travelling with small children, why not visit Magic Kingdom and Animal Kingdom at Walt Disney World. Families with older children and teenagers may enjoy the fast rides and rollercoasters at Universal Orlando Resort instead.

On your last few days on Florida’s Gulf Coast, you’ll likely want to spend your time relaxing on the beaches of Clearwater – though you are about to fly over to Atlantis, don’t be fooled into thinking all you will be doing is lying on a beautiful Caribbean beach!
