Enjoy Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party at Disney, Universal studios Halloween Horror Nights and Howl-O-Scream at Busch Gardens!  The villa developments too share in the festivities and Celebration is an area to visit to see how beautifully the homes are decorated. The festivities start at the end of September continue through the month of October and then almost as magic overnight will switch to Christmas festivities at a given date generally the night of the 31^st after Halloween, Universal will often push back a couple of days longer, but if you time the dates right you can experience both spooky Halloween and the Magical Christmas spirits.

Enjoy Disney’s Not So Spooky Spectacular where the sky above Magic Kingdom’s Cinderella castle is lit up with lasers, lights and a displays! Also, Disney’s Boo-to-You Halloween will provide fun for all the family! Children are also welcomed to Trick-or-Treat Throughout the Park and meet all their favourite Disney Characters in their Halloween costumes!

Universal studios Halloween Horror Nights is the perfect event if you’re really looking for a scare! Universal do not recommend this event for children and upon arrival you will see why! The Universal Park is filled with monsters, zombies, Chain-saw wielding zombies and plenty of super scary haunted houses! Featuring many attractions from their hit TV shows, such as The Walking Dead, Universal studios Halloween Horror Nights will leave you truly spooked! An experience not to be missed, unlike any other, and not for the faint hearted but certainly one that will leave you with tales for years to come.

Howl-O-Scream at Busch Gardens features multiple hunted houses that will leave you screaming! This is another Halloween event you may want to leave the kids at home for! The park features many scare zones, terrifying actors and plenty of places to have a few bloody margaritas!

Where to stay October Florida Holidays

Those wanting to stay close to the Halloween fun at Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party may want to consider Disney’s Contemporary Resort which is just a short monorail ride away from Magic Kingdom! The hotel also features the infamous California Grill and two large pools (with a waterslide) for you to relax at after trick-or-treating!! For a family friendly Disney Resort then the Value Resorts are very popular with all our families loving the oversized and larger than life magical theming around the resorts it’s a real treat to stay on site in a Disney Resort Value category.

Those looking to visit Universal’s Halloween Horror nights may want to consider staying at Loews Portofino Bay Hotel, the Hard Rock Hotel or Loews Royal Pacific Resort! These hotels allow exclusive access to those magic Fast passes that will allow you to skip the lines and get straight to the scaring in those terrifying haunted houses! Some of our guests often opt to stay off resort, in one of the amazing Orlando hotels such as Floridays Resort Orlando, Courtyard Marriott Orlando Altamonte, Margaritaville Resort Orlando, Blue Tree Resort at Lake Buena Vista, The Avanti Resort and so many more, then stay for a couple of nights in a Universal Resort hotel to gain exclusive access to Fast passes! This is something we highly recommend as Halloween causes October to be a particularly busy time at the Florida Theme parks. Extremely popular now especially for slightly larger families is the Universal Cabana Bay Resort and Universal Endless Summer Resort offering Surfside Inn and Suites with its chilled beach vibe, and then Dockside Inn and Suites themed around sand sea and beautiful sunsets.
