12 Day Disney & Universal Holiday
When planning a Disney & Universal Holiday, we know you’ll want to see we know you'll want to see and do as much as possible, plus other things Orlando has to offer, so here is an example of how we would plan a 12 Day Orlando Holiday to include both Walt Disney World and Universal Orlando Resort – plus a few Orlando extras!
Day 1: After flying direct from London with one of our partner airlines, such as Virgin Atlantic and British Airways, you will arrive in Orlando and make your way to your hotel: Universal's Endless Summer - Surfside Inn and Suites
Upon arrival, check into Universal's Endless Summer - Surfside Inn and Suites. The hotel offers a great beach atmosphere and plenty of amenities such as two pools, a game room, and a fitness centre. Enjoy a relaxing evening at the hotel, taking in the beautiful surroundings and enjoying dinner at the on-site restaurant, Beach Break Cafe.
Day 2: Universal Studios Florida
Spend the day at Universal Studios Florida, one of the two Universal Orlando theme parks. Experience thrilling rides such as Revenge of the Mummy and Transformers: The Ride-3D, and explore the Wizarding World of Harry Potter. For lunch, why not grab a burger at the famous Krusty Burger in Springfield.
Day 3: Disney's Magic Kingdom
Visit the most famous theme park in the world, Disney's Magic Kingdom. We recommend that you start your day early when heading to Magic Kingdom at Walt Disney World. This way, you can ensure that you ride all the attractions on offer including the classics such as Space Mountain and Pirates of the Caribbean, and the new favourites like TRON Lightcycle/Run. Why not enjoy lunch at Be Our Guest Restaurant, located in the Beast's Castle.
Day 4: Universal's Islands of Adventure
Spend the day at Universal's Islands of Adventure, the second Universal Orlando theme park. Experience thrilling rides such as The Incredible Hulk Coaster and The Amazing Adventures of Spider-Man, and explore the Wizarding World of Harry Potter – Hogsmeade. Be sure to ride the beloved Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey and the new Hagrid's Magical Creatures Motorbike Adventure!
Day 5: Beach Day
Take a break from the theme parks and head to a nearby beach. Cocoa Beach is only an hour away from Orlando and offers a great day trip. Spend the day swimming, surfing, and soaking up the sun!
Day 6: Disney's Animal Kingdom
Explore Animal Kingdom on your 6th day in Orlando, here you will see exotic animals and experience thrilling rides such as Expedition Everest and Avatar Flight of Passage. Why not try the Tusker House Restaurant for some African-inspired dishes.
Day 7: Kennedy Space Center
On day 7 of your Orlando Holiday, why not venture towards to coast again but this time to visit the Kennedy Space Center, located in Cape Canaveral. Learn about the history of space exploration and see real rockets and spacecraft. Not to mention, you can visit NASA in real life!
Day 8: Universal's Volcano Bay
Cool off at Universal's Volcano Bay water park. Experience thrilling water slides and relax on the lazy river. Be sure to ride the Ko'okiri Body Plunge, a 125-foot drop slide through the centre of a volcano! Or, if that’s not your idea of fun, why not just relax in one of the waterpark’s many pools.
Day 9: Disney's Hollywood Studios
Explore the world of movies at Disney's Hollywood Studios theme park. Experience thrilling rides such as Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance and Tower of Terror, and meet your favourite characters!
Day 10: Epcot
Head to Epcot and experience the cultures of the world at the World Showcase. Enjoy the classic Soarin' ride and take a trip to outer space on Mission: SPACE. For lunch, try some authentic Mexican cuisine at the San Angel Inn Restaurant.
Day 11: Universal’s CityWalk and/or Disney's Disney Springs
On your second to last day, you’ll want to be up bright and early to make the most of Orlando. On their final full day in Orlando, many visitors choose to either visit Universal’s CityWalk or Disney's Disney Springs- both of these areas are a hub of shopping, dining, and entertainment to enjoy. Neither of these areas are too big, therefore you could visit both on the same day if you wanted. We recommend starting with the Universal’s CityWalk as it is much smaller, then ending at Disney Springs where you can eat dinner and shop for Disney souvenirs or enjoy some retail therapy in beloved High Street Stores like COACH and ZARA.
Day 12: Final Day
On the final day of your Orlando Holiday you will check-out of your hotel, Universal's Endless Summer – Surfside Inn and Suites, and make your way to Orlando International Airport where you will catch your direct flight home with one of our partner airlines, such as Virgin Atlantic and British Airways.
