Itinerary Highlights:

Goa has a totally different feel to the rest of India. The south in particular, where this itinerary is based, is peaceful, unspoiled and wonderfully easy to settle into. You can have a lazy morning on the beach, head out to a local spice farm in the afternoon, and spend your evening trying proper Goan seafood and a glass of feni (the local cashew spirit!) without ever feeling like you're rushing. Two weeks here gives you the time to actually relax, which is exactly what a good holiday should do.
This is just one of the many 14-night Goa holidays we can put together for you — every detail, from your hotel and flights to transfers and any excursions, is arranged by our India specialists and tailored to exactly what you're after.
On arrival at Goa Airport, your private transfer will be ready and waiting to take you on the 90-minute drive south to your hotel.
You'll be spending your 14 nights at the stunning Lalit Golf & Spa Resort, set right on Rajbaga Beach within 86 acres of tropical gardens. It really is a beautiful spot. There's an outdoor pool, the Revive Spa offering everything from Ayurvedic treatments to contemporary therapies, squash and tennis courts, and a full 36-hole golf course. If you fancy something a little different, you can even charter the resort's own three-bedroom yacht.
Food is a real highlight here too - the main restaurant serves a brilliant mix of traditional Goan, Indian, Continental and Oriental dishes, with a live BBQ so you can watch your food being cooked right in front of you. For anyone wanting complete privacy, it's worth asking us about the Goa Villas - each one has its own private pool, a fully equipped kitchen and direct beach access. They really are something special.
With two weeks at your disposal, there's plenty of time to get out and explore beyond the resort. Here are a few things we'd definitely recommend:
While you're in Goa, we'd really encourage you to try an Ayurvedic massage. It's an ancient Indian healing tradition using natural oils and personalised techniques — guests always come back saying how incredible it made them feel. We'd suggest booking in for two or three sessions during your stay.
If you're interested in history, don't miss a trip to Cabo da Rama Fort. Named after the Hindu deity Rama, it sits dramatically on a clifftop overlooking the Sal River estuary. The Portuguese took it over in 1763 and used it as a prison - today it's one of the most atmospheric spots in Goa and well worth the short journey.
South Goa is quieter, more upscale and home to some of the best beach resorts on the coast - ideal if you're after a proper, relaxing escape. North Goa has a livelier buzz, with night markets, beach bars and the historic churches of Old Goa (a UNESCO World Heritage Site) on your doorstep. Plenty of our guests actually choose to split their time between both, which is a brilliant way to get a real feel for what Goa has to offer. Just let us know and we can factor it in!
Your private return transfer to the airport is included, so there's nothing to worry about at the end of your trip. And remember - all our Goa holidays are completely tailor-made, so if you'd like to change the hotel, mix in some time elsewhere in India, or tweak the duration, just get in touch and we'll make it happen.

Direct flights from London to Goa take approximately 9 to 9.5 hours. Indirect routes via Dubai, Doha or Abu Dhabi typically add 3 to 5 hours. We recommend a direct flight where available to maximise your time on the ground, and our team can advise on the best airline options for your travel dates.
The best time for a two week holiday in Goa from the UK is between November and March, when temperatures sit comfortably between 25°C and 32°C and rainfall is minimal. December and January are peak season — beautiful weather but book early. The shoulder months of October and April offer quieter beaches and excellent value without sacrificing too much sunshine.
Yes, British passport holders require an Indian visa to visit Goa. Most travellers apply for the e-Tourist Visa (eTV) online before departure, which is straightforward and typically processed within 72 hours. Our team can provide up-to-date guidance on the application process when you book.
Absolutely. South Goa in particular is home to some of India's finest five-star resorts, including The Lalit Golf & Spa Resort featured in this itinerary. Luxury in Goa means generous space, world-class spa facilities, excellent cuisine and attentive service — often at a price point significantly lower than comparable European or Caribbean luxury destinations.

Goa is one of India's most family-friendly destinations. The beaches are relatively calm, the food is varied and accessible, and large resort hotels offer dedicated children's facilities and kids' clubs. Two weeks gives families the perfect balance of beach time and gentle exploration without the fatigue of a fast-paced touring itinerary.
