First of all, it is San Francisco, commonly known as the Golden Gate City because of it being home to the bridge that is the envy of the world. Here you will be staying at the Radisson Fishermans Wharf. This hotel is ideally located on Fishermans Wharf in the immediate vicinity of Ghirardelli square and Alcatraz. Each of the stylish rooms in the hotel offers all the facilities you would expect from a 4 star hotel including satellite TV and tea/coffee making facilities. Guests can also take advantage of an outside heated swimming pool and even have a workout in its fully equipped gym.
Holidays to San Francisco are very hard to define in one word or sentence but what can be said of it is it a very warm and welcoming city with an audacious spirit to look to the future as it harbours many idealists, entrepreneurs and pioneers who have started many movements. It is very diverse culture and while there, you must take in the different walkable neighbourhoods that prove its diversity such as Nob Hill with its array of boutique hotels and stunning views as it is perched on top of a hill to the Financial District and the Castro. Talking of hills, make sure you ride one of the famed cable cars in the city; these will especially help you with the hills that can deceptively look as not steep! Another must is a visit to Lombard Street, a street with no less than 8 hair-pin turns! Already mentioned is the Golden Gate Bridge which must be crossed by foot, whatever the weather (!) for something that you will remember for a long time to come. Take some time out to have a walk around the green open areas of the city. Whatever you decide on doing, there is something for everyone in San Francisco and I can guarantee that boredom will not strike even the most fussiest of tourists (!) with something to do every day.
After the full days of sightseeing and activities in Frisco, it is time to make your way to the airport for your flight to the other city on the sea, Cancun.
Here you will be staying at the BlueBay Grand Esmeralda. A five star resort, it is nestled in the enclave at Playa del Carmen surround by pristine white beaches and the beautiful rich blue sea and even archaeological sites! It is one of the more recent additions to this area and boasts a rather modest 979 guest rooms overlooking either the sea or the landscaped grounds. Each room has a tasteful decor and the service proves hard to be beaten. It's all-inclusive rates means guest have numerous choices where to eat and drink with food delicacies from all over the world including Italy and Mexico. When not eating and drinking, guests can unwind on canopy beds by the beach or one of the two swimming pools with a separate area for younger guests. It has a fully equipped gym and an exquisite spa. Water sports are included for the more adventurous of guests! Close by to the resort is Play del Carmens many shopping opportunities, festivals and vibrant nightlife. Time will seem to just stand still as thoughts of that mobile phone and business calls fly out of the window and the only worry is which cocktail do you want the bar tender to make next!
