Day 1: Amman
Depart London Heathrow in the afternoon to fly to Amman. Met on arrival at Queen Alia International Airport. Transfer to hotel in Amman.
Day 2: Amman/ Ajlun/ Jerash/ City Tour/ Amman (170 Km)
Depart Amman to visit the village of Ajlun with its fortress and magnificent view into the Jordan Valley. Proceed to visit Jerash; one of the most preserved Graeco-Roman cities in the Middle East. In the afternoon transfer back to Amman for the City Tour. Visit the ruins of the Amman Roman theatre, the Citadel and the Umayyad Palace. The tour includes visits to the Archaeological and Folklore Museums. Free time for walking in the old down town area of the city and transfer back to the hotel.
Day 3: Amman/ Madaba/ Mt Nebo/ Wadi Mujib/ Kerak/ Petra (320 Km)
Early Breakfast. A whole day to explore the King's highway, which was once, part of the ancient Silk Road. Visit the Christian Town of Madaba "The City of Mosaics. You will be visiting the St. George church with its mosaic map of the Holy Land from Byzantine times, and the Archaeological Park, which houses the remains of several Byzantine churches, including the amazing mosaics of the Church of the Virgin. The park complex includes a school for the restoration and conservation of ancient mosaics, and take a detour to visit the Monastery in Mount Nebo. Proceed to Kerak via Wadi Al Mujib, a deep valley holding one of Jordan's most breathtaking views. Visit the castle with its diverse history dated from the Byzantine to the Mamluk period. Continue south to the hotel in Petra.
Day 4: Petra
Breakfast. The visit of the ancient Nabatean Capital starts on horseback, followed by a walk through the Siq, a long narrow fissure between two overhanging cliffs. The tour then proceeds to gradually unfold the mysteries of the Red Rose City. Overnight at hotel
Day 5: Petra/ Wadi Rum/ Dead Sea (450 Km)
Breakfast. Transfer south to the enchanting desert of Wadi Rum, Jordan's largest desert and one of the most spectacular desert landscapes in the world. Jeep Tour inside the Wadi. Transfer to Dead Sea hotel.
Day 6: Dead Sea
Breakfast. Free day at leisure.
Day 7: Dead Sea/ Departure (60 Km)
Breakfast. Transfer to the airport to fly back to London Heathrow.
