The Hilton Los Angeles/Universal City is about a block from the entrance to Universal Studios Hollywood, making it one of the closest hotels to the park. A free shuttle runs to Universal Studios and Universal CityWalk, which is handy at the end of a long day. The hotel has an outdoor pool, a restaurant with a large breakfast buffet and a coffee shop. The nearby Universal City Metro station connects you to Hollywood and downtown Los Angeles.
Paris Las Vegas sits in the centre of the Strip, opposite the Fountains of Bellagio, and is easy to recognise by its half-scale Eiffel Tower. Inside, you'll find a casino, a large pool with views of the tower, and around a dozen restaurants, including Gordon Ramsay Steak and Mon Ami Gabi, whose terrace looks out over the Bellagio fountains. Many of the Strip's biggest hotels, shows and attractions are within walking distance.

The flight takes about an hour, and there are many flights each day. It's much quicker than driving, which takes around four to five hours across the desert.
Flying is quicker and easier, and it's included in this holiday. Driving takes around four to five hours, but it lets you add stops such as Death Valley, the Mojave National Preserve or Palm Springs. We can upgrade your holiday to car hire if you'd like to make it a road trip.
We recommend around 4-5 nights in each, as on this holiday. Los Angeles has a lot to see, from Universal Studios to the beaches, and 4-5 nights in Las Vegas gives you time for shows, the pool and a day trip to the Grand Canyon.
The West Rim, home to the Skywalk, is around two and a half hours' drive from Las Vegas. The South Rim, with the most famous views, is around four and a half hours away. Both can be visited on a day trip by road, plane or helicopter, or you can stay overnight.
