Flying to Memphis with one of our airline partners Delta Airlines, British Airways, United Airlines etc. Upon arrival in Memphis collect your car hire and make your way to The Guest House at Graceland for the first 5 nights. The choice of hotel can be changed to suit your requirements.
A short 2 hour drive from Memphis Tennessee is the town of Tupelo in Mississippi the birth place of Elvis -the King of Rock and Roll, where you can visit the home where Elvis was born and learn how Elvis grew up and started his singing career before moving to Memphis. In Memphis, you'ew staying at The Guest House at Graceland and we recommend the VIP tour of Graceland, which gives an audio guided tour of the Graceland mansion and grounds, along with self-guided tours of the Elvis two custom airplanes, Elvis' automobile Museum and Elvis' personal wardrobe.
After walking in the footsteps of Elvis, take a trip to the world famous Beale Street. You can spend the afternoon and evening soaking up the atmosphere of this famous street with many clubs, live music, bars restaurants and shops to choose from.
During your time in Memphis including spending the day the banks of the Mississippi river which provides great parks and recreational areas, visit the Gibson Guitar Museum on Beale Street, popular with music lovers, or the superb Civil Rights Museum which gives an interactional display of the struggle for the Civil Rights in the USA.
Head north east, and move from the home of Rock and Roll and the Blues across to the home of country and western, Nashville. This easy 4 hour drive takes you from Memphis to Nashville. Enjoy the sights of Nashville by visiting such sites as the Grand Ole Opry House - a must see whilst in Nashville, being the longest running live radio program in the world and the start to many of the biggest country and western singers careers.
