Days 1-3
Fly from the United Kingdom with one of our airline partners Virgin Atlantic, British Airways, Unitedor Delta Airlines to Boston. Upon arrival you will collect your car hire and drive to the Doubletree Downtown hotel where you will be staying for two nights. This comfortable hotel is situated in the theatre district with many shops, bars, restaurants and a variety of entertainment within walking distance. Take advantage of the hotels fantastic facilities including a swimming pool, Jacuzzi, running track, gym and basketball court. Attractions not to be missed during your stay in Boston include shopping at Newbury Street and visiting the North End and Beacon Hill.
Days 3-5
Today you will leave Boston and head to White Mountains, New Hampshire. En route you can visit Salem and also shop in the North Conway factory outlets. Once you arrive in White Mountains check in to the Rodeway Inn for two nights. This hotel is just minutes from Lake Kanasatka, Weirs Beach and Lake Winnipesaukee. Whilst you are staying in White Mountains be sure to visit the Castle in the Clouds where you can partake in great water activities in the pristine lakes such as boating, fishing and swimming.
Days 5-6
Next, a journey to North Vermont where you will be staying in the Comfort Suites situated in South Burlington. During your stay visit Church Street, a bohemian cobblestone street filled with shops, restaurants, street entertainers and jugglers. Take a tour of Ben and Jerrys ice cream factory, located approximately 25 minutes from the hotel, and see how this popular brand of ice cream became so popular.
Days 6-7
Leave South Burlington and drive into New York State and through the Adirondack Mountains to Lake Placid. You will be staying at the Lake Placid Summit Hotel for one night. Enjoy the indoor heated swimming pool, Jacuzzi, and gym facilities whilst staying at this relaxing hotel. Take part in many of the activities on offer at Lake Placid including skiing, snowboarding, hiking, mountain biking, gondola riding, bobsled and dogsled adventures. A great show that takes place in the summer at Lake Placid is the I Love NY Horseshow.
Days 7-9
You will be heading to one of the most spectacular waterfalls in the World today; the breath taking Niagara Falls. Staying in the Days Inn Fallsview hotel for two nights you can explore this epic world wonder at your own pace. Take a cruise on the famous Maid of the Mist, tour the falls from overhead on a helicopter ride or walk along the banks for photo opportunities.
Days 9-10
Take some last pictures of Niagara Falls this morning before setting off to your next stop of the beautiful Hudson River Valley, New York. An inspiration to writers and artists for generations, this location makes a relaxing and romantic stop. You will be staying in the Courtyard by Marriott Kingston, located in the heart of the beautiful Catskill Mountains.
Days 10-11
Head to your next destination of Berkshire Hills, Massachusetts where you will stay in the Clarion Hotel, West Springfield for one night. Nearby attractions and points of interest include the Zoo in Forest Park, Six Flags New England amusement park and the Chicopee Falls Dam. Sports enthusiasts can visit the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame and the Volleyball Hall of Fame in nearby Holyoke.
Days 11-13
Travel to Newport, Rhode Island next and check in to the Hyatt Regency hotel. Situated on Goat Island, and surrounded by Narragansett Bay, you can enjoy the seclusion of this peaceful island. Take part in the many activities on offer at this fantastic hotel including yoga, bike rentals, wine tasting and mixology sessions. You can reach downtown Newport in minutes where you will find great shops, restaurants and entertainment.
Days 13-15
Next is a journey to Cape Cod, a popular summer resort due to the white sandy beaches and endless attractions. You will be staying in the Heritage House situated in the waterfront district of Hyannis. This quaint town boasts lively night spots, exceptional restaurants and great shops. Visit Provincetown to take a guided whale watching tour or relax on the beach.
Day 15
Today you will drive back to Logan Airport, Boston where you will drop your car hire off and fly back to the United Kingdom. En route you can stop off at Sandwich, the oldest town of Cape Cod, or visit Plimouth Plantation in Plymouth before leaving to fly home.
