Flights to Cape Town
Flights to Cape Town are about 11 hours from London, and you can fly direct with either Virgin Atlantic or British Airways. Plus, Cape Town is only an hour ahead, so when you land you will be ready to explore without the jet lag!
Weather in Cape Town
Cape Town enjoys a warm climate during the summer months however their seasons are opposite to ours making Cape Town the perfect winter getaway. November to March is the warmest time of the year to visit Cape Town — great for when it is cold in the UK.
Visas and Currency in Cape Town
There are currently no visa requirements to enter Cape Town from the UK, however your passport must be valid for a minimum of 30 days from the date you depart South Africa. The official currency of South Africa is the South African Rand.
