California is often known as the Sunshine State and with its beautiful blue skies, warm and sunny weather, miles and miles of golden coastline and beautiful cities you can see why! A Multi-Centre Holiday to California is the best way to see all the Sunshine State has to offer as one city is so different from the next it will feel like a whole new destination!
The most iconic Multi-Centre California Holiday is San Francisco and Los Angeles as this combines two of the state’s biggest cities in one amazing trip but also gives the holiday two very different atmospheres! San Francisco is home to one of the most iconic and most photographed bridges in the world, the Golden Gate Bridge, which is a spectacle to behold! Biking down Fisherman’s Wharf and over the Golden Gate Bridge is a great activity to do whilst in San Francisco! San Francisco is also home to iconic and eerie Alcatraz Island where you can take a boat tour out over San Francisco Bay to Alcatraz Island and then tour the prison itself! San Francisco, especially Fisherman’s Wharf, while being a big city has a much more small-town feel with plenty of tight-knit neighbourhoods, local fish markets and even docks lined with fisherman catching their fish for the day! After enjoying San Francisco, you’ll head over to Los Angeles where you can escape the city for the picture-perfect beaches of Malibu, stroll down the Boho centre of California, Venice Beach, and have a go on the iconic Gym Equipment of Muscle Beach or take a trip to the fabulous Rodeo Drive where you can shop in style and maybe even see your favourite celebrity!
California and Hawaii is another much loved Multi-Centre Holiday as you can stop for a few days in one of California’s iconic destinations such as Los Angeles, Santa Monica, Malibu, San Francisco or San Diego before and after your amazing Hawaii holiday. You might choose to spend a few nights in San Francisco on your way to your Hawaii Holiday and visit the epic Muir Woods where you will walk amongst Redwood trees that are hundreds of years old, or perhaps you’ll want to take a sight-seeing tour of San Francisco where you will see The Painted Ladies that are featured in many TV shows and are backdropped by the city! After California you will fly out to Hawaii where you will see some epic beaches like the infamous Waikiki Beach and be able to hike up extinct volcanos like Diamond Head! On your trip Back, you may wish to stop in another of California’s amazing destinations such as Santa Monica where you will be able to spend time at the iconic Santa Monica Pier and see the end of Route 66!
California and Las Vegas is another Multi-Centre Holiday beloved by our clients as they can choose to pair city with city or beach with city depending on their choice of California destination! For those wanting to experience two fabulous cities then visiting Los Angeles and Las Vegas is for you! Los Angeles will give you access to the best shopping in the world on Rodeo Drive, amazing restaurants like NOBU and even the opportunity to visit your favourite movie sets in Hollywood! However, those wanting to have a more relaxed and beachy experience in California before jetting off to live the highlife in Las Vegas will also be catered for! Visiting the Napa Valley is great for wine lovers who want a chilled and relaxing couple of days drinking wine and soaking in the sunshine and visiting Malibu is perfect for those wanting to tan, surf and enjoy the famous California beaches. Once you head off to Las Vegas you will be able to visit the iconic casinos and soak up the nightlife – one of the best being at Caesars Palace as frequent Las Vegas visitors say that barely any other Las Vegas casino can match the energy felt at Caesars!
For a truly relaxing and laid-back trip to California a Multi-Centre Holiday to Napa Valley (or California Wine Country) and Lake Tahoe is in order. California’s Napa Valley is home to amazing vineyards, restaurants, the Napa River, and the Napa Valley wine train. The Napa Valley wine train is one of the most fun and interesting activities for visitors as it takes you through 36 scenic miles of vineyard and serves you gourmet food and a selection of Napa’s finest wines! If you are not much of wine lover, there is still plenty to do in the Napa Valley, for example you could take a paddle boarding tour down the clam and picturesque Napa River. The Jarvis Estate is one of the more interesting Vineyards in Napa Valley as it is set amongst the caverns and caves of the area. Another vineyard worth visiting is Castello Di Amorosa which has a distinctly European-style with its main castle-esque building. Lake Tahoe is a place of beauty and somewhere visitors can feel at one with nature. You could take a sunset cruise on the lake, hike throughout the state park or even take a day trip tour to Yosemite! Helicopter and air balloon tours across the region can also be organised and you will be able to see miles and miles of mountainous and lake-covered beautiful landscape. Though, if you would rather make the most of the lake then boat tours across the emerald waters can also be arranged!
